2021 Tech Summit Highlights

We had 16 education sessions and 16 vendor companies at the Association’s 16th annual Tech Summit in March.  

Special thanks to the Tech Summit session speakers and product demo vendors for sharing their knowledge and expertise. Virtual sessions were presented throughout March on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

The sessions ranged from “Great Marketing Comes with Great Responsibility” to “Adopting Methods from Leading Retailers” and “The Art of Strategic Storytelling” to “The Future of Visitor Guides.”

Topics at additional sessions focused on the utility of geo-location data, working with locals to bring visitors, enhancing existing visual assets to make stellar creative and activating your search marketing post-COVID.  

Two sessions, “Creating Engaging (And Easy!) Virtual Experiences” and “To Tik or to Tok?” were audience favorites.

As special ‘shout-out’ to the members of the Tech Summit Planning Committee for their work in evaluating and selecting proposal submissions for presentation.

DMA West awarded four complimentary registrations to the March 2022 Tech Summit. The Visit Tucson team looks forward to welcoming their industry peers to Tucson next year.
