Park City Chamber/Bureau Awarded for Meeting Planning Excellence

Only tourism organization in Utah receiving Stella Award recognition from Successful Meetings and Meetings & Conventions Magazine

When it comes to helping meeting planners with their event needs, Park City’s Groups Sales/Meetings team is one of the best in the Southwest, and now they have a Stella Award to prove it.Nearly 10,000 votes were cast from around the world for 532 destinations, hotels and service providers nominated in 18 categories in six regions in the United States and worldwide, spotlighting the very best hotels, convention centers, conference centers, CVBs/DMOs, destination management companies, airlines and cruise lines. In the category of Best CVBs/DMOs in the Southwest, Park City’s Chamber/Bureau received a Bronze Award, trailing only the Visit Phoenix and the bureau at Irving, Texas, both of which boast massive convention center/meeting facilities. Winners were recognized for achieving overall excellence, professionalism of staff, technology innovations, and other critical aspects of the meetings and event experience.
