Washington County Visitors Association Awarded Grand Prize for Destination Marketing
In February, the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) awarded the Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) two top awards in its 26th Annual North American Travel Journalists Association Awards Competition, which recognizes the best in travel journalism and destination marketing. The WCVA was selected as grand prize winner in the DMO category for its creative marketing efforts, which judges determined to represent the best in destination marketing for 2017. A gold medal was awarded to the WCVA for its destination video, “Introducing the Tualatin Valley,” which was shot and directed by award-winning filmmaker and photographer Jim Shea.
