Visit Anaheim’s Staff-wide Day of Service at Orange County Food Bank

In late June, Visit Anaheim, conducted a staff-wide day of service volunteer event at the OC Food Bank in Garden Grove. Thirty-six staffers packed nearly 1,500 boxes of food to be delivered to parks and community centers for distribution to Orange County residents. Visit Anaheim was joined by Garden Grove Mayor Bao Nguyen in addition to the Garden Grove Tourism Promotion Corporation (GGTPC), who celebrated the occasion by donating $10,000 to the OC Food Bank. This event marked the launch of Visit Anaheim’s community giveback initiative, Visit Anaheim Cares. Following the DMO’s mission to benefit the economic vitality of the community, Visit Anaheim has pledged to inspire community service acts that positively impact the Orange County community.
