Ventura VCB FY 15/16 “Year In Review” Video

The Ventura VCB staff shared the accomplishments in Bureau's FY 15/16 “Year In Review” video - Economic Impact Through Tourism - which provides an in-depth look at the organization’s tourism marketing initiatives and their performance.

Just a few of the highlights include: 

  • While tasked with raising the Transient Occupancy Tax by 3% annually, VVCB reported a 13.4% increase over last year
  • After launching a new website in late 2014 -, VVCB had a nearly 32% increase in website traffic
  • VVCB submitted Ventura for Sunset Magazine’s Travel Awards and was named a finalist for Best Beach Town

The VVCB plans to build on this enthusiastic support from its community partners during the new fiscal year.
