Visit Seattle Pairs Well-known Chefs and Musicians in Turning Tables Series

Food and music have long been a natural pairing, going back centuries. In Visit Seattle’s new series, Turning Tables, the marriage between food and music get a serious update. It debuted October 30 and aired on Visitseattle.tv and REVOLT TV. Turning Tables pairs Seattle chefs with well-known and up-and-coming musicians, both using their creativity in their own ways to work together and create an unforgettable duet. Spurred by the chefs’ creative menus, the musicians composed and played a set list in a truly Seattle experience. Turning Tables boasts both impressive Seattle-based chefs and artists alike. “Our goal is to create content that tells the Seattle story in unique ways. Showing how ‘art inspires art’-–in this case food and music—was a natural fit that is just so Seattle, and can’t be replicated in many other cities,” said Ali Daniels, SVP and chief marketing officer at Visit Seattle. “Turning Tables builds on the success of our previous series with REVOLT TV, Sounds by the Sound, but brings forth Seattle’s notable food scene along with a great soundtrack.” Episodes of Turning Tables aired October 30 through December 4 on  Visitseattle.tv and REVOLT TV. Turning Tables is one of Visit Seattle’s latest releases, a wide assortment of award-winning original content accessible on Visitseattle.tv In under two years, Visit Seattle, with its agency of record, PB&, has produced eight unique series with nearly 22 million views on YouTube, and watch time totaling more than 46 million minutes (the equivalent of watching consistently for 88 years).
