Thanks to our Visit Mesa hosts for welcoming Education Summit attendees to their destination. The Visit Mesa staff did a stellar job of developing three day-long experiential sessions to complement the major focus areas of the 2016 Education Summit—Marketing, Product Development and Sales.
When asked the reasons for choosing to attend the Education Summit, survey respondents cited—in order—education in job area of focus, networking opportunities, education about other DMO departments and vendor product/services information.
The Best Idea Program presentations continue as a favorite component of the Summit; this year we sprinkled the presentations throughout the conference.
The new specialty-area Roundtable format adopted last year was continued for 2016. Delegates selected and participated at one of the following Roundtables—Marketing Gurus, Product Development Pundits, or Sales Standouts.
Thanks to our speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for their participation and support. See separate article about the Best Idea Program achievement awards and the companies at the Vendor Showcase.
