The Destination Marketing Association of the West (DMA West) is a regional membership organization of more than 145 destination marketing organizations (DMOs).

The CEOs and staff members of these member-organizations are committed to improving organizational effectiveness, implementing engaging marketing and communications strategies, successfully representing their local stakeholders and advancing the destination-marketing profession.

DMA West and the DMA West Education & Research Foundation are valuable sources of learning, knowledge and future-oriented research for the destination marketing profession, and provide resources, education and ideas to enhance the performance and influence of destination marketing organizations in the West.

Objectives

EDUCATION
Objective: Provide high-quality educational programs that assist DMO West-member CEOs and staff in being successful in their organizations, along with networking opportunities.
    
MEMBERSHIP
Objective: Develop and maintain a well-informed membership base that includes destination marketing organizations in the western United States and western Canada.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Objective: Ensure members understand, participate and use the services and tools available to them.

COMMUNICATIONS
Objective: Provide high-quality communication vehicles that provide a continuing flow of information on Association and industry issues of importance to members and interested others.

REVENUE DEVELOPMENT
Objective: Develop sufficient financial resources to support a full range of DMA West programs and services.

ADMINISTRATIVE
Objective: Develop and maintain an organizational structure to support the goals of the Association through efficient and professional direction of operational functions to deliver member programs and services.
