Sara Toliver, CDME, President & CEO at Visit Ogden, was recently appointed to a second, three-year term as a Trustee-at-Large for the DMA West Education & Research Foundation Board of Trustees. Toliver will serve until September 2024.

Foundation Scholarships Available - Save $$$ for Industry Education

The DMA West Education and Research Foundation administers several scholarship programs to fund educational opportunities for DMO CEOs and staff. Scholarship applications are available here.

2022 Tech Summit Scholarships

Plan to be in Tucson for the 2022 Tech Summit & Vendor Showcase, March 30 - April 1. Scholarship criteria and an application are available online. Each scholarship includes conference registration and lodging. Application deadline: February 1, 2022.

The DMA West Education & Research Foundation awarded a scholarship to a destination marketer to attend the 2021 DMA West Education Summit in Vancouver, Washington. The scholarship included conference registration and lodging. Congratulations to Alison Norwood!

Winning Ticket for the Western Road Trip Raffle
Destination: Arizona

Melyssa Reeves, CDME, President & CEO at Visit Vacaville, bought the winning ticket for the 2021 Western Road Trip Raffle. Special thanks to the following DMOs and their participating partners for sponsoring the Destination: Arizona Western Road Trip Raffle—Visit Tucson, Visit Mesa, Visit Phoenix and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau. The fabulous prize package included airfare for two, a rental car stipend, seven nights lodging along with dining gift cards and attraction tickets.

Thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets throughout 2021; the proceeds underwrite DMA West Foundation research projects and scholarships. Stay tuned for information about the 2022 Western Road Trip Raffle!
