The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA), which markets the destination as Tualatin Valley in Oregon, recently launched the “Tualatin Valley Ale Trail.” This new marketing initiative is designed to stimulate Washington County’s craft beer industry by bringing awareness to the area’s breweries, many of which are small producers. The new program features a passport that highlights 22 craft breweries located in Washington County. Beer consumers are encouraged to visit participating breweries and get their passports stamped as a souvenir of their visit. “Tualatin Valley, long recognized as an approachable and sophisticated wine destination, is also the home to Oregon’s burgeoning craft beer movement,” said WCVA President & CEO Dave Parulo. “We’re excited and delighted to invite travelers to be inspired in Tualatin Valley.” The program launched locally and regional with a marketing campaign directed at residents in the Portland metropolitan area and visitors to the region.
